Employees and Lecturers
Employees and lecturers can use the public printers free of charge for official purposes. A budget has been allocated for lecturers. Once this is exhausted, lecturers can use the printing environment like students and external users via the MensaCard. This also applies to the private use by employees and lecturers. The costs for private use and budgets can be found in the price list.
Log in to the Device
To use the devices, you can log in directly with your HTW account. You also have the option to link the access card or your old copy card to your university account. Once this is successfully done, you can log in by placing the card on the card reader directly next to the display (device in TGS House 1) or by holding it near (all other devices).
Please do NOT use the additional card reader located to the right of the device. This is intended for use with the MensaCard or StudentCard.
Note: New copy cards are no longer issued; instead, you can obtain an access card if needed.
Functions at the Device
After a successful login, the following options are available to you:
- Printing documents that you have previously sent to the system using the print client
- Copying
- Scanning with the ScanPro application
- Printing from/Scanning to a storage device (USB stick)
Please don't forget to log out after use to protect your data and your budget.
