Subscribe to a calendar by URL

  • How it works:
When subscribing to a calendar, a URL is used that refers to an online calendar. The calendar application remains connected to the URL and regularly retrieves the latest data.
  • Update:
Changes in the original calendar are automatically synchronised in the subscribed calendar view if the application supports this. It is therefore a dynamic connection.
  • Benefits:
    • automatic synchronisation with the original calendar
    • always up-to-date data without manual changes
  • Disadvantages:
    • requires an active internet connection for synchronisation
    • if the URL is deleted or blocked, you will lose access to the data
