Forwarding

This guide explains how to set up a forwarding for an HTW e-mail address.

Please note that there are rules for staff members, professors and students/lecturers.

Step 1: Open e-mail settings

Open the overview of your e-mail addresses and select the desired address for which you want to activate forwarding. Click on "Change settings" or "Bearbeiten" below the desired address.

Step 2A: Forwarding as student or lecturer

Then scroll down to the "Forwarding" section and enter the desired (HTW internal or external) e-mail address to which you want to be forwarded. A copy of each incoming e-mail remains in the HTW mailbox and can be accessed e.g. via our webmail service.

Step 2B: Forwarding as employee/professor

Then scroll to the "Forwarding" section and enter the desired HTW e-mail address to which you want to be forwarded.
