Search efficiently

  • Often just a few input characters are enough to find the information you are looking for.
  • Use joins to make queries flexible.
  • * or % are accepted as placeholders (wildcards).
  • For search terms with less than 3 characters, the beginning of a term is searched for.
  • Quotation marks are used to describe phrases, e.g. "Business Administration 3: Marketing".
  • Linking of terms: “and” is used by default, “|” is used for "or"

Filtering of result lists

All search masks offer you the option of setting how many search results are to be displayed on one page. You will find the corresponding selection option at the top right of the page. When searching for events, you can also specify how the list should be sorted.
