Allocation via the lecture plans

Step 1: Login to LSF

Please go to the website http://lsf.htw-berlin.de and login in with your HTW-Account.

Step 2: Select lecture plans

After successfully logging in, you are on the LSF homepage.

Please select the menu item "Lecture plans" in the navigation on the left.

Step 3: Select course and semester

Please select your course of study. To do this, click on the small symbol behind the "Course" search field. Alternatively, you can also enter the name of the course or part of it.

Then complete the form as required to restrict the search in a targeted manner with the desired "semester" and, if necessary, select a "parallel group".

Step 4: Lecture plans after search

After you have triggered the search query, you will be redirected to your sample lecture plan. This includes all courses offered for the selected course.

Please make sure that "Overview of events (across semesters)" has been selected in the selection field above the plan.

In order to continue with the assignment, it is necessary that you select the "medium length plan view". This is marked with a green symbol (middle symbol, see screenshot).

Step 5: Middle view of the courses

In the medium-length view you get more information about the courses and at the same time you can move courses to your personal timetable in order to use this to register for your desired courses. See step 6 for more information.

Step 6: Transfer of courses to the personal timetable

With the "Remember courses until logout" function, you can fill your personal timetable with courses and then use your personal timetable to book them.

To do this, look for all the desired courses in the lecture plans and tick the box “Remember until I cancel”. After you have selected all the courses, you must transfer them to your personal timetable by clicking on the “Remember courses until you cancel” button (in the upper area).

After activating the button, you will be automatically forwarded to your personal timetable.

Step 7: The personal timetable

After you have completed your planning and transferred all courses to your personal timetable, you still have to register for the individual courses.

There is a "register" button in the respective courses for this purpose. Please confirm this in order to complete the registration (individually for each event!).

Login interface briefly explained:

  • B“ = this indicates a "duty f allocation"
  • login“ = u can use this to "login"
  • +i“ = Participation and manual allocation list, information about: "Number of available places", "Previously admitted", "Open applications"
  • X“ = This button allows events to be hidden from the personal timetable. Attention: This does not deregister from events, use the "deregister" button for this.

Logout interface briefly explained:

  • AN“ = indicates that you have already registered
  • B“ = this indicates a "duyt of allocation"
  • logout“ = here u can "logout" from the event
  • +i“ = Participation and manual allocation list, information about: "Number of available places", "Previously admitted", "Open applications"
  • X“ = This button allows events to be hidden from the personal timetable. Attention: This does not deregister from events, use the "deregister" button for this.

In some cases, not all courses can be attended. This can e.g. have the background that only the respective exercise of the lecture has to be attended and the lecture is also attended at the same time. Please note the information on the respective courses.

Step 8: Courses are registered

The "Login" button changes to "Logout" after logging in. In this way you can keep track of which courses have already been taken.

Important: Please note that this is only a registration, a request for documents. Don't take this as an approval.

Note: Courses that have not been registered can no longer be seen in the personal timetable after logging out (LSF).
